Gold climbs new peak, silver rises

Mumbai, May 10 (UNI) Prices of spot gold climbed to new peak while silver rose on bullish global advice in the closing session today, traders at the bullion market said.

Following are the closing rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg) .999 fineness grade: Rs 21,495 (20,785), Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 10,265 (9,955), Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 10,315 (10,005).
