Bomb scare turns hoax

Kochi, May 10 (UNI) A bomb threat at the Amonia Plant of the public sector Fertilisers And Chemicals, Travancore(FACT) at Eloor near here today turned out to be a hoax.

Police said bomb squads and sniffer dogs held extensive searches, following an anonymous call, but could not find out any explosives.

The call was received by noon and the functioning of the factory was halted for hours.
