BJP activists bring Mahajan's ashes to Nagpur
Nagpur, May 10 (UNI) The ashes of slain Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) general secretary Pramod Mahajan were today brought to the city by party activists for immersion in the Kanhan river near here.
The urn containing the ashes, which was brought by BJP city president Girish Vyas from Mumbai by train, was received at the Ajni Railway station by hundreds of party activists including MLAs Devendra Fadanvis , Chandrasekhar Bawankule, rural district unit president Ashok Mankar, Vidarbha organising secretary Arvind Shahapurkar and others.
The ashes would be kept for ''darshan'' for general public at party's regional office here for two days and would be immersed in the Kanhan river on May 12.
