Adolescent awareness programme begins May 15

Hyderabad, May 10 (UNI) The Obstetrics and Gynaecological Society of Hyderabad would organise 'General and Reproductive Health Awareness Programme' here to create awareness among adolescent girls, chairperson Pushpalatha said today.

Talking to newspersons here, she said the programme scheduled from May 15 to 20, would promote positive attitudes among the girls.

Dr Pushpalatha said it would also help them understand the normal growth pattern and various changes in the adolescence.

The programme, would focus on the physical and emotional health, contraception usage and AIDS awareness, the chairperson added.
