Six kg heroin seized from Samjautha express passengers

Attari, May 9 (UNI) The Customs staff seized six kg heroin worth Rs six crore in the international market from five passengers who had alighted from the Samaujtha express at the railway station here.

According to customs officals, the heroin was seized during checking of the baggage of the passengers who had come on the train from Lahore yesterday. The arrested passengers included three women of Indian nationality and three Pakistani nationals.

All the five have been booked under the NDPS act.The case has been registered at the Gharinda police station by the Punjab Police.
