Silver, gold shine on bullish global advice

Mumbai, May 9: Prices of spot silver and gold today went up in the opening session on bullish global advice, traders at the bullion market here said.

Following were the rates: Silver (per kg) .999 fineness grade : Rs 20,850, Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint: : Rs 9,955, Gold 99.9 purity variety : Rs 10,005.
