Repoll in one booth on May 10 in Deeg

Bharatpur, May 9 (UNI) The Election Commission has ordered repoll in one polling booth in Deeg constituency on May 10.

After perusing the report sent by district election officer Pravin Gupta, the Commission decided to order repoll in Garaulli village (polling booth no 70) on May 10.

Polling would be held from 0800 hrs till 1700 hrs. Security forces, magistrate and elections officers have been sent to the booth.

The Deeg constituency went to polls yesterday.

The bypoll was necessitated due to the death of Indian National Lok Dal MLA Arun Singh.

The contest is between BJP's Divya Singh, wife of Bharatpur MP Vishvendra Singh and a scion of the Bharatpur royal family, and Congress' Laxman Singh.
