Powersoft Global posts higher profits in Q2
Bangalore, May 9 (UNI) Powersoft Global Solutions, a leader in RFID services, has recorded a 40 per cent growth in income during the second quarter, ending March 2006, at Rs 2.3 crore, compared to Rs 1.64 crore in the same period last year.
According to the unaudited results approved by the company board, the company showed an impressive growth of 39 per cent for the half year ending March 2006, with the earnings touching Rs 3.7 crore as against Rs 2.67 crore in the corresponding period last year, a company release here said today.
The profit before tax for the period between October 2005 and March 2006 recorded a 41.4 per cent increase to Rs 58 lakhs as against Rs 41 lakhs in the same period last year, the release said.
The annualised earnings per share for the half year was Rs 1.79, compared to Rs 1.23 during the same period last year. The EPS for the year ended September 30, 2005, was Rs 1.85, the company said.
