NCDEX records trade worth Rs 5,182 cr

Mumbai, May 9 (UNI) As many as 578 members of the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchanges (NCDEX) participated in trading worth Rs 5,182 crore (one way) upto 1700 hrs today.

There were 1,05,230 trades put through by them. Active trades were in guarseed, chana, silver, gold, wheat and urad, an NCDEX release said.

Yesterday, about 626 members had participated in trading and put through over 1,33,270 trades. The volume for the whole day trading till 2300 hrs was Rs 7,173 crore (one way).

Active trades were in chana, guarseed, urad, wheat, silver and gold, the release added.
