German found dead under suspicious circumstances

Morena, MP, May 9 (UNI) A 50-year-old German tourist, Volk Michael Burner, was found dead under suspicious circumstances in the Bangalore-New Delhi Sampark Kranti Express here today.

The German, who came to India on April 25, was spotted this morning lying unconscious on the upper berth of train's general coach by co-passengers when blood trickled from his nose over them.

Michael was taken to the government hospital, where he was declared dead.

Police sources said Michael was coming to New Delhi after visiting South India. He was scheduled to leave for Germany on May 11.

Police were investigating the matter.
