Four militants killed in encounter

Imphal, May 9 (UNI) Four militants were killed in an encounter with police and Assam Rifles in three separate incidents since last night.

Police said here today that two militants were shot dead at Churachandpur district by Three Assam Rifles.

Another PULF cadre was killed by police at Sora in Thoubal district.

In another encounter, a militant was shot dead at Lamsang by Imphal West Commandos.

The bodies were yet to be identified.

Assam Rifles said a KCP cadre was also nabbed in another incident.
