Four chain snatchers held

Hyderabad, May 9 (UNI) The sleuths of Asifnagar Police division today arrested a gang of chain-snatchers and recovered gold ornaments worth Rs 2.5 lakhs from them.

The arrested included Mohd Abdul Rahman (19), Moiz Khan (19), Shaik Mahboob (21) and Ahmed Bin Omer (18), all residents of Golconda area. Police recovered 25 tolas of gold ornaments worth Rs 2.5 lakhs, according to a Police press release.

During interrogation, the accused confessed that as they were in need of money for their wants, they started indulging in the crime since December last year.
