Written by: Staff

Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, May 9 (UNI) Ending the speculation about Congress-Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) ties in view of growing differences between the two parties, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today said the Congress would have alliance with the TRS in the ensuing Panchayat polls.

Speaking at Banaganapalli village in Kurnool district as part of the 'Praja Padham Programme' in Medak, Mahaboobnagar and Kurnool districts, Dr Reddy said his party would contest the Panchayat polls in alliance with the TRS.

Dismissing the allegations of corruption by the TDP in the irrigation initiative of his government, Dr Reddy said the party was scared as the new irrigation projects would drive it into oblivion.

Dr Reddy said the government proposed to construct 18 lakh houses during the next three years. He assured that every deserving person would be getting a dwelling during the Congress regime.

He said the ''Indiramma'' scheme meant to provide basic amenities for villages and towns would transform the life style of the people there.
