WFI chief accuses Navin Jindal of hijacking HOA
Chandigarh, May 8 (UNI) Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) President MS Malik has accused Member of Parliament Navin Jindal and P V Rathee, Additional Director General of Police (CID) Haryana, of hijacking the Haryana Olympic Association (HOA) in an ''illegal and unconstitutional manner.'' In a letter to Indian Olympic Association (IOA) president Suresh Kalmadi, Mr Malik alleged that Mr Jindal and Mr Rathee have proclaimed themselves to be the president and secretary general of the HOA in an ''illegal and unconstitutional manner.'' In his letter, Mr Malik alleged that some politicians and senior bureaucrats of the state had ''hatched a conspiracy'' and accordingly convened an ''illegal and unconstitutional meeting'' on May 6.
Mr Malik also requested Mr Kalmadi not to entertain any communication from the ''self-styled'' HOA office-bearers.
