Transfers in UP administration

Lucknow, May 8 : Uttar Pradesh government has transferred four administrative officers while adjusted 11 others awaiting their place of posting.

According to official sources, state government last night posted Basti District Collector Ramendre Nath Tripathi as Fair Officer Allahabad while Silk Director Narendre Singh Kushwaha as City Commissioner of Meerut.

Gorakhpur City Commissioner Arun Kumar Mishra has been appointed as Kaushabi's Chief Development Officer and Additional Commissioner (Devipur Gonda) Ajay Shankar Pandey as Joint Secretary Health.

Meanwhile, sources said among 11 officers, awaiting their postings, Mr Babulal Aggrawal has been appointed as Special Secretary (Information Technology), Mr Gopal Chand Pandey as Joint Director (Economics and Statistics), Mr Sharif Ahamed Khan as Additional Director (Youth Welfare), Mr Shriram Singh as Additional Director (Backward Class Welfare Directorate, Lucknow) and Mr Anand Vardhan as City Commissioner Gorakhpur.

Similarly, Mr C P N Upadhyay has been adjusted as Joint Labour Commissioner Kanpur, Mr Surender Chander Gupta as Joint Director Government Press Allahabad, Mr Suraj Narayan Pandey as Member, Legal, Revenue Council Allahabad, Mr Hari Lal Pasi as Additional Commissioner Azamgarh, Mr Khem Singh Kharak as Secretary Aligarh Development Board and Mr Promod as Deputy Administrator Chakbandi, Farrukhabad.
