Hyderabad Theatre blast: ISI angle under focus
Hyderabad, May 8: Police suspect ISI hand behind the blast in a cinema hall here last night, which left two persons injured.
The use of trinitrotoluene (TNT) and nitroglycerine in the explosives used to trigger the blast was a pointer in the direction as this was generally used by the ISI, police today said.
However, they would arrive at a conclusion only after receiving the forensic reports.
The blast in the Odeon Delux Theatre, near Chikkadpally, during the night show injured two people. The police recovered a foreign-make grenade lever with HE-36 marking.
M Radhika (17), a resident of Saifabad, who went to the movie along with her sisters, was seriously injured on the leg while Ramesh (25) of Chikkadpally suffered injuries on the face.
