Sonalike Tractors doubles export target to Rs 100 crore

New Delhi, May 8 (UNI) Sonalika Tractors has doubled it's export target to Rs 100 crore keeping in view the increasing demand of the vehilcles in foreign countries particularly in the African continents, Sonalika group Chairman L D Mittal said today.

''The company which exports it's tractors to twenty different countries including Canada, Australia, France, European Countries, Bangladesh and Srilanka had exported 1500 tractors amounting to Rs 50 crore during the last financial year,'' he said.

Mr Mittal said that the company has focused on increasing it's share in African countries and has formulated a plan to set up four regional hubs along with assembly units at Tanzania, Ethopia, Ghana and Morocco to cover all the north south, east and west areas of the continent effectively to increase private participation and attract individual customers of the region besides government supply which forms the major share of their export at present.
