Slight earthquake in Jhajjar shakes Delhi

New Delhi, May 8: The national capital and surrounding areas were jolted yesterday night (May 07, 2006) after a slight earthquake in Jhajjar in neighbouring Haryana.

The quake, measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale, was epicentred at 28.7 N and 76.6 E and occurred at 2131 hrs, the India Meteorological Department, said.
