NCDEX records trade worth Rs 6,450 cr

Mumbai, May 8 (UNI) As many as 584 members of the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchanges (NCDEX) participated in trading worth Rs 6,450 crore (one way) upto 1700 hrs today.

There were 124,320 trades put through by them. Active trades were in guarseed, chana, silver, gold, wheat and urad, an NCDEX release said.

On Saturday, about 571 members had participated in trading and put through over 75,100 trades. The volume for the whole day trading till 1400 hrs was Rs 3,476 crore (one way).

Active trades were in chana, guarseed, urad, wheat, refined soy oil and gold, the release added.
