Mizo Pay Commission recommends new pay structres in record time

Aizawl, May 08 (UNI) The Mizoram Pay Commission (PC) has submitted its recommendations on pay structures of state government employees to Chief Minister Zoramthanga, faster than other North Eastern states.

The state Pay Commission's Chairman Lalfakzuala has submitted their recommendations to the Chief Minister, breaking Tripura's all India record of submitting recommendations in 19 months. Mizoram Pay Commission has submitted its recommendations in 14 months.

The state government had entrusted the Commission to recommend pay structures on March 1, 2005.

However, the recommendations being 'confidential,' nothing is known about the pay structures.
