MCD suspens three engineers following Delhi HC order

New Delhi, May 8 (UNI) The Municipal corporation of Delhi has placed under suspension three junior engineers of the Rohini Zone following the orders of the Delhi High Court.

The engineers - P C Sundriyal, B P Singh and H M Meena - have been suspended following the order of the court in the matter of Kalyan Sanstha Social welfare organisation Vs Union of India and others.

In its judgement on April 24, the court had directed the MCD to take severe action against delinquent officials referred to in a report by the court commissioner Rakesh Khanna submitted to the court in a sealed cover and asked the MCD commissioner to submit an Action Taken Report on the next date of hearing.
