Jaya casts vote, refuses comment
Chennai, May 8 : Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa cast her vote at 0915 hrs at a polling station in Stella Mary's College, near her Poes Garden residence here.
After exercising her franchise, Ms Jayalalithaa paried questions, saying she had said whatever she wanted to say during the more than month-long electioneering.
''I have said whatever I wanted to say during the campaign. I have nothing more..I don't want to comment on anything when polling is on,'' she told newspersons.
Accompanied by close friend Sasikala Natarajan, Ms Jayalalithaa was seen clad in her lucky and favourite green colour saree.
As there were only few voters at the polling station, Ms Jayalalithaa and Ms Sasikala walked upto the polling officers and exercised their franchise.
The polling booth comes under the Thousand Lights consituency, where her party nominee Adhi Rajaram has locked horns with DMK Deputy General Secretary M K Stalin.
