Gulbarga records highest maximum temp of 42 degree celsius
Bangalore, May 8 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the weather office at 0830 hours here today.
Rainfall occurred at isolated places over Interior Karnataka.
Dry weather prevailed over Coastal Karnataka. Chief rainfall amounts (cm): Bhagamandala, Madikeri 2 each; Hubli, H.B.Halli 1 each.
Maximum temperatures changed little over the State. They were above normal at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and were normal over Interior Karnataka.
Gulbarga recorded highest maximum temperature of 42 degree celsius over the State.
Forecast valid until Wednesday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at isolated places over Interior Karnataka and mainly dry weather may prevail over Coastal Karnataka.
Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places over Belgaum, Dharwad, Haveri districts of North Interior Karnataka and Kodagu, Chikmagalur, Shimoga, Hassan, Mandya, Mysore, Chamarajnagara, Bangalore Rural, Bangalore Urban districts of South Interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather may prevail over all districts of Coastal Karnataka and remaining districts of North Interior Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka.
