Gadarias free six captives
Gwalior, May 8: The Dayaram-Rambabu Gadaria dacoit gang has released six of the eight people, abducted one-and-a-half months ago, in Sheopur district's Morawan forests.
Two youths are still in the gang's captivity.
Confirming the development, Inspector-General of Police (Gwalior-Chambal) Sanjay Rana said today, ''On March 28 the gang, which carries a reward of Rs 14.5 lakh, halted a bus -- coming from Indore -- at Sheopur district's Karahal Valley, indulged in loot, torched the vehicle and abducted the passengers.'' Anup Sharma from Dholpur, Pramod Gupta (Indore), Anil Sharma, Amit Srivastava, Sunil Gupta and Ranjeet Chaudhry (all from Shivpuri) were releaser late last night and found by a police search party.
''Hitendra, the son of bus owner Ashok Jain -- a Shivpuri resident -- and Manish Agrawal, a businessman from Rajgarh district's Bioara are still in captivity,'' he added.
