Cellebrum launches Pay-for-me service for customers

New Delhi, May 8: Cellebrum.com Pvt Ltd, Asia's leading integrated telecom VAS solutions provider, today launched its 'Pay-4-Me' service here, to provide continuous connectivity to prepaid subscribers, whose outgoing calls facility was barred due to insufficient funds.

Cellebrum Chief Operating Officer Saket Agarwal said, ''This service is developed by Cellebrum to ease the lives of prepaid subscribers by offering them the edge to place a call, even when they do not have balance in their account.'' He added,''Almost 75 per cent of mobile subscribers in the country use prepaid connections, and over 30 per cent of the prepaid subscribers usually get caught in a situation where they do not have the balance to make calls when it is needed the most. In such cases, Pay-4-Me, will come to their rescue.'' Most of the operators have done a customer lock-in via 'Lifetime Incoming Free' offers. Pay-4-Me is an add-on to that offer, and it requires the called party to agree to pay for the calling party.

This is made possible by opening a number wherein subscribers can call and log their request to get connected to the other party which will pay for him/her.

The service will be available on roaming as well.

On tie-ups with cellular operators, Mr Agarwal said, ''All major operators of the country have shown interest in this product and we are quite confident that prepaid customers will soon be able to use this service.'' Cellebrum has tied up with various GSM and landline operators across the country and is the only company to provide the BGM service, to more than fifteen circles (20 million users).

Products developed by Cellebrum include Voice Mail System, Enterprise SMS Solutions, CRBT Solutions, SMSC, USSD, Voice SMS, Roaming gateways and Lost Call Alerts amongst others.
