BJP announces three candidates for Council elections

Mumbai, May 8 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today announced the names of its three candidates for the biennial elections to the Legislative Council.

Announcing the names here, State unit president Nitin Gadkari said sitting MLC Jagdish Gupta has been re-nominated from Amravati local bodies constituency, while Mr Samir Kunawar would contest the Wardha-Chandrapur seat and Rohidas Deshmukh would taken on Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh's brother Dilip in Osmanabad-Beed-Latur The voting for these elections will be held on May 26.
