Two drowns while taking bath

Pathanamthitta, May 7 (UNI) Two youths drowned while taking bath in the river Achankovil at Mangaram in the district today.

The deceased were identified as Riyas (29), a salesman and Kannan (24), an Engineering student, both hailing from Pandalam, police said.

The tragedy occurred when the two, along with three others, taking bath in the river.

The body of Riyas was fished out, while search for the body of Kannan was going on, the sources added.
