Pay commission recommendations for coal sector workers:Dasari

Vijayawada, May 7 (UNI) Union Minister of state for coal and mines Dasari Narayana Rao today said the Congress-led UPA government at the Centre will soon implement the seventh pay commission recommendations for the workers in coal industry, pending since the last four years.

Talking to newspersons here, he said all the trade unions had signed on the pay commission report which includes many benefits to the employees.

The minister said Coal India will bear education expenditure for the workers' children, including studies abroad.

Super speciality hospitals and mining engineering colleges would also be set up in areas where coal mines are situated, he added.
