New garment parks will create jobs:AP CM

Hyderabad, May 7 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhar Reddy today announced that Garment Parks would be set up in Seetharampur and Alur villages in Ranga Reddy district.

Launching the second phase of 'Praja Padham' programme at Bodampahad village, Mr Reddy said that it would create atleast three to four thousand job oppornuties for the youth in the areas.

The land acquisition for the park is already underway in Seetharampur and the acquired land will be properly paid, he said.

The Chief Minister reiterated his commitment to bring Godavari waters to Chevalla which would irrigate 16 lakh acres of land in Karimpur, Medak and Nizamabad districts. The homeless would be provided with free houses and land, he said.
