Girl, who committed suicide, passes in first class
Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, May 7 (UNI) A girl, who feared she would fail in the tenth class examination and committed suicide last month, passed in first class in Nandikotkur town of this district.
The parents of the girl, who wanted her to become a doctor were grief-stricken ever since the results were declared two days ago.
The girl Saraswathi, daughter of E Narasimhulu Goud and Sesganna was student in a residential school in Nandikotkur. Her parents though not well off, put her in a good school to enable her to realise the ambition of becoming a doctor.
Fearing that she would not pass the examination, she committed suicide by hanging herself when she was alone in the house on April 7.
The result showed that she secured 371 marks out of 600.
