AIMF demands reservation for OBC in pvt sector

New Delhi, May 7 (UNI) The All India Minorities Front (AIMF) has demanded job reservation in the private sector for the Other Backward Classes (OBC) in the country.

The front's National President S M Asif in a letter to Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh has drawn the attention that the leading members of Industry and Commerce in the country are neither in favour of any reservation in the private sector not would allow such things.

He said, these statements are not healthy for the nation and society nor are in the interests of harmony. Such statements can only vitiate the social atmosphere in the country and create a situation when members of deprived classes would rise against such elements on the streets.

The AIMF President has requested the PM to include the OBC in the proposed bill on job reservation in the private sector, said a front release here today.
