Two killed in pre-Panchayat poll violence
Barh, Bihar, May 6 (UNI) Two people were killed in the pre-Panchayat poll violence near Sarhantal village under Pandarak police station area in Patna district today, official sources said.
Sudhir Yadav and Pappu Yadav were shot dead when they were returning to Basobagi village after completing campaign in favour of the Panchayat election candidates.
Both died on the spot.
Sudhir Yadavs mother, Sumitra Devi is contesting election for the post of the district board member from Barh (east) while his wife Radha Devi from Pandarak (west) for the same post.
The other deceased Pappu Yadav was accused in cases of murder and dacoity. Further investigation was on, the sources added.
