Telgi wants to make second confessional statement
Bangalore, May 6 (UNI) Abdul Kareem Telgi, prime accused in the multi-crore fake stamp paper scam, today appealed to the Special Court to permit him to make one more confessional statement alleging that politicians, businessmen, doctors and police were involved.
'' I want to make a confessional statement. I want to reveal everything, he told Judge Vishwanath Virupax Angadi at Parappana Agrahara, in the outskirts of the City, through video conferencing from Yerwada prison in Pune, where he is lodged now.
''If I am found guilty, I may be hanged, I want to make a confession before truth dies with me'', Telgi said seeking court permission for making second confessional statement after he made first in Mumbai recently.
The case was posted for further hearing on May 22.
