SDM caught red handed accepting bribe

Khargone, MP, May 6 (UNI) Lokayukta Police today caught Kasravad Sub-divisional Magistrate (SDM) C K Gupta red handed while accepting Rs 5,000 bribe from a sarpanch.

Mr Gupta had demanded Rs 20,000 from sarpanch Chain Singh Sisodia to restart construction work on a road.

The matter was complained to Lokayukta, which trapped the SDM in its net.

Mr Gupta called some local leaders at his office after being caught.

However, Lokayukta Deputy Superintendent of Police Vinit Jain's strict behaviour forced them to return.
