Mediation centre inaugurated in Karkardooma Courts
New Delhi, May 6 (UNI) In order to de-burden trial courts in the national capital, a mediation centre was inaugurated at the Karkardooma Court Complex here after the 'success' of the first.
Supreme Court judge S B Sinha and Acting Delhi High Court Chief Justice Vijender Jain inaugurated the centre in presence of the members of the Bar and the Bench yesterday.
Justice Sinha said "mediation centre" had achieved 60 per cent success in helping resolve disputes and reduce the burden on courts.
This was the second mediation centre to be opened after the one at Tis Hazari court complex.
