Major IAS reshuffle in HP

Shimla, May 6 (UNI) The Himachal Pradesh Government today ordered the transfer of 13 IAS officers in the state with immediate effect, an official spokesman said.

Shimla Deputy Commissioner SKBS Negi has been appointed Excise and Taxation Commissioner, in place of Narinder Chauhan who has been posted Secretary Rural Development and Panchayati Raj and Ayurveda, relieving Avy Shukla of the charge of Ayurdeva Department.

Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVN) Director (Personnel) Tarun Kapoor has been named new Shimla Deputy Commissioner after returning from Central deputation.

Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Principal Secretary Parminder Hira Mathur also holding the additional charge of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs and Industries has been transferred as Financial Commissioner-cum-Principal Secretary (Revenue) and Principal Secretary (Town and Country Planning), relieving Subhash Chander Negi and Ashok Kumar of their additional charges.

Horticulture, Pollution Control and Non Conventional Energy Sources Principal Secretary J P Negi also holding the additional charge of MPP and Power would also hold the additional charges of Bio-Technology and Science and Technology Department, he said.

Principal Secretary Youth Services and Sports, Language, Arts and Culture also holding the additional charge of Forests, Housing and Town and Country Planning Departments would function as Principal Secretary Forests, Industries, Language, Arts and Culture.
