Govt renames 2 irrigation projects

Hyderabad, May 6 (UNI) Two irrigation projects introduced by the State Government as part of its mammoth irrigation initiative, have been renamed after two late Congress leaders.

According to the Government Order(GO) the Gundlakamma project has been renamed as Kandula Obula Reddy Project and the Singur Project as M Baga Reddy Project as a tribute to their invaluable service to the state.
