We have solution for tea growers' problems: Sonia

Coimbatore, May 5 (UNI) Congress President Sonia Gandhi today said the UPA Government at the Centre had a scheme to address the problems faced by the tea growers in Nilgris and Coimbatore districts of Tamil Nadu.

Addressing an election rally here this evening, she said the tea growers had met her recently in Delhi and explained to her their problems.

''I know the problems of the tea growers. I have a scheme to help them,'' she said. Ms Gandhi, however, said she could not disclose the details in view of the Assembly elections in the state.

The Congress President also said the Centre had plans to set up a information technology park in the textile town.
