Karkala recorded 6 cm rainfall in the State
Bangalore, May 05: Following is the summary of observations recorded in weather office here at 0830 hrs today.
Rainfall occurred at many places over coastal karnataka and at a few places over interior karnaaka.
Chief rainfall amounts (cm): Karkala 6, Lainganamakki 5, Mangalore, Puttur, Hirekerur, Sorab, Madikeri 4 each, Panambur, Hukkeri, Mundargi, Shikaripura, Bandipura, Davanagere 3 each, Bantwal, Mani, Sulya, Gerusoppa, Ranebennur, Bagewadi, Hosanagara, Talaguppa, Thyagarthi, Kudligi, Mysore 2 each.
Maximum temperatures fell at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and changed little over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka. They were above normal at many places over Coastal Karnataka and at a few places over North Interior Karnataka and were normal over South Interior Karnataka.
Raichur recorded highest maximum temperature of 41.1 degree celsius over the State.
