Heat wave condition prevails all over India
Pune, May 5 (UNI) Heat wave conditions prevailed in northwest Rajasthan and in some parts of northeast Rajasthan. Hot day conditions also prevailed in some parts of Haryana.
Day temperatures were markedly above normal in Jammu and Kashmir.
They were appreciably above normal in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and in some parts of Assam and Meghalaya, Haryana, Punjab, Gujarat, madhya Maharashtra and coastal Karnataka and in the remaining parts of Rajasthan and were above nrmal in some parts of coastal Orissa, Jharkhand, east Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Marathwada, Vidarbha, south coastal Tamil Nadu and Kerala and in remaining parts of Haryana, Punjab. They were appreciably below normal in Arunachal Pradesh and in some parts of interior Orissa and were below normal in some parts of Chattisgarh, coastal Andhra Pradesh. They were normal over the rest of the country.
Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal and Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Lakshwadweep and at isolated places in Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Jammu and Kahmir north Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chattisgarh, Marathawada, madhya Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Andman and Nicobar Islands and mainly dry weather will prevail over Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, south Rajasthan, Gujarat and Konkan and Goa.
Very light rain have occurred at isolated places in Bihar and Vidarbha.
Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in Assam and Meghalaya and at many places in sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim and at few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, south interior Karnataka and Kerala and at isolated places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Jharkhand, Chattisgarh, coastal and north interior Karanataka and Lakshadweep.
