Lucknow, May 5: A brief seven-day session of the Uttar Pradesh Legislature will begins here on May 11 with a joint address of the Governor T V Rajeswar on the opening day.
The government would table the first supplementary for the current financial year on May 12 and it will be passed on May 15, according to oficial sources.
Before the House is adjourned sine die on May 19, there would be debate on the Hovernor's address from May 16.
Sources said during the session, the government might also bring legislation regarding reservation for OBCs in higher education institutes and a bill for holding combined admission test for three agriculture universities.
Meanwhile, the state government is also likely to appoint the second principal secretary in the assembly before the session starts.
UP assembly would be the only legislature in the country where two principal secretaries would work.
Sources confirmed the post of the new secretary, to be appointed from the judicial cadre, would be a temporary one for one year and his term is expected to be extended further.
