Sydney, May 5 (UNI) Australia expect the return of pace guru Troy Cooley as bowling coach after a stint at rival english camp will boost their bid to regain the Ashes later this year.

Cooley's arrival at the Centre of Excellence in Brisbane to begin his tenure ahead of the Ashes Series is being seen as something which would greatly help the Aussie cause considering his knowledge of England pacemen and the kind of impact he can make to the Australian bowlers.

''It was a real coup to get Troy back here,'' said chairman of selectors Andrew Hilditch.

''It was quite clear from last year's Ashes just how good a job he did with England's quicks. They were awesome. We are very happy with our batch of quicks coming through and it's exciting to think the kind of impact he could have with them,'' he added.
