4 shot dead in Bihar

Sheikhpura, May 5 (UNI) Criminals shot dead four persons early today in Manipur village under Ariari police station in Sheikhpura district.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Dilip Kumar Jha said the criminals swooped down on the community hall in the village where the victims were asleep and killed them.

Three of the victims had been identified, he added.

The incident was a sequel to inter-gang rivalry between two powerful gangsters, Mr Jha said adding the police were conducting raids to nab the culprits.
