Twenty IAS, IPS transferred in UP

Lucknow, May 4 : The Uttar Pradesh government tonight announced transfer of 20 IAS and IPS in the state.

According to official sources, Ayurvedic, Unani and Homeopathy Department Secretary R K Tiwari has been transferred as Secretary in Home Department. Revenue Council Secretary V K Srivastava has been appointed Information Commission Secretary, while Special Secretary and Director of Higher Education Veena Kumari Meena has been appointed Sultanpur District Collector.

Special Secretary in Agriculture Production Department Amit Ghosh has been transferred as Shahjahanpur District Collector. Kanpur Industries Principal Secretary Saurabh Babu has been made Special Secretary in the Home Department.

Special Secretary, Backward Welfare (Lucknow) and Director Chintamani has been appointed a Special Secretary in the Home Department. Medical Education (Lucknow) Additional Director J B Singh has been made General Manager of UP State Road Transport Corporation. Additional Secretary in General Administration Department Ajay Kumar Upadhyaya has been transferred as Trade Tax (Lucknow) Principal Secretary.

Varanasi District Collector Ramashankar Pandey has been transfered as District Collector Ballia, while the incumbent Naresh Chandra Srivastava has been sent to replace Mr Pandey.

K Chandramouli, who was awaiting posting has been appointed Principal Secretary Revenue. Principal Secretary Forests V K Sharma has been made Principal Secretary Agriculture Education and Research Department. Allahabad's Revenue Council member (legal) V N Garg has been made Principal Secretary Forests.

Lucknow Land Consolidation Commissioner P K Jha has been transferred as Secretary Legal Education Department. Commissioner Revenue Council (land) S P S Solanki has been transferred as Social Welfare Department Principal Secretary.

Balrampur Police Superintendent Vipul Kumar has been transferred to Fatehgarh. 41st Bn PAC (Ghaziabad) PAC Commandant Rajiv Sabharwal has been appointed SSP Bareilly. Lucknow CBCID SP Rahul Asthana has been made commandant of the 43rd Bn (Etah) PAC.
