12 Councillors joined BJP

Anand, May 05 : Twelve councillors of Vikas Manch, a Congress supported local party, have joined the Bharatiya Janata Party here today.

The 12 councillors led by their president Vijay Patel, popularly known as Master, welcomed the merger offered by Anand Nagarpalika and local BJP unit President Jairaj Patel.

With inclusion of these 12 councillors, the total strength of BJP has risen to 31 in the total of 42. The remaining 11 councilors are independents.
