'Thimila' artist Vijayan dead

Palakkad, May 4 (UNI) Noted 'Thimila' artist Kongad Vijayan died of a heart attack here today. He was 52.

Vijayan was brought to a hospital here after he developed chest pain during a performance at Kodunthirappully in the district. But he died on the way.

He is survived by his wife and four children.

The funeral will be held at Kongad tomorrow.

Vijayan was the recipient of several awards.
