Silver, gold prices South-bound

Mumbai, May 4: Prices of spot silver and gold fell on bearish global advice in the opening session, traders at the bullion market here today said.

Following were the rates: Silver (per kg) .999 fineness grade : Rs 20,720, Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint: : Rs 9,745, Gold 99.9 purity variety : Rs 9,790.
