Rajasthan students demonstrate against reservation

Jaipur, May 4 (UNI) Students of various medical colleges in Rajasthan today held demonstrations against the proposed reservation in the higher educational institutions here.

They also burnt, Human Resources Minister Arjun Singh in effigy.

The students from Sawai Mansingh Medical College, Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Nursing College, gathered at the city's Statue Circle and shouted slogans against Mr Singh.

Meanwhile, Suvarna Reservation Manch activists demanded reservations on the basis of a person's financial status.

They threatened of state-wide agitation.
