Book on law and goverment released

New Delhi, May 4 (UNI) Former Vice Chancellor of Utkal University, Orissa and eminent English scholar Prof G K Dass released a book 'Reign of the People'- the first poetic treatise on law and governance.

The book has been authored by Reader in the English department of Delhi University Prof Arun Kumar Jha. The 150-page-book has five chapters.

Mr Justice K G Balakrishnan of the Supreme Court in his foreword has said," Anybody who is concerned with the state of inequality, corruption and misrule in the society would be touched by Dr Jha's exposition of these vitally interesting aspects of life." The book release function was attended among others by the President of Supreme Court Bar Association P H Parekh and members of the SCBA.

Prof G K Dass speaking on the occasion said it was unique efforts by Dr Jha who has expressed his views and thoughts intermixing poetic imagination in verses.
