BJP organises mass-condolence meet
Itanagar, May 04 : The BJP in Arunachal today organised a mass condolence meeting cutting across party lines to mourn the sad demise of Pramod Mahajan, who died at Mumbai yesterday.
The condolence meeting started at 0930 hours in the morning at city BJP hall and would continue till evening, party sources informed adding, this was done to facilitate people to pay their tributes to the departed soul. Meanwhile, state Chief Minister Gegong Apang has expressed shock and grief on the sudden death of the veteran BJP leader.
Expressing deep and heartfelt condolence on behalf of the people of his state and cabinet colleagues to Rekha Mahajan, widow of late Mahajan, the chief minister said that the untimely demise of a promising, dynamic and charismatic leader was a great loss not only to the BJP party but also to the nation.
